For those of you on twitter the Campaign has adopted the following hashtag and we encourage you when using twitter or facebook to use the following hashtag to spread the word and increase awareness of this employment practice that is exploiting workers employed by Condor, reducing safety standards and placing passengers at risk and reducing the number of locally employed seafarers.

A message to you condor.........by the specials

Stop your messing around,
Better think of your future.
Time you straighten right out,
Creating problems in town.
Condor, a message to you Condor.
A message to you.
Stop your fooling around.
Time to pay the going rate.
Better think of your future,
As you wind up for sale.
Condor, a message to you Condor.
A message to you.
Stop your messing around.
Better think of your future.
Time you straighten right out,
Creating problems in town.
Condor, a message to you Condor.
A message to you Condor.
Oh, its a message to you Condor.
Yeah, its a message to you Condor.
its a message to you Condor...

Promotional video

Please take the time to watch this video and make up your own mind about the Condor ferries employment practices of Ukrainian seafarers operating between Portsmouth and the channel islands!!

Do you think it is ok to treat employees differently due to their race or nationalty even though in the UK we have an equality act?
Do you think it's ok to pay less than the national minimum wage of the Uk, Guernsey and jersey?
Do you feel safe knowing that the crew may have worked far in excess of other ferry workers in the UK and that due to fatigue they may not be fully alert in an emergency?
Do you think its ok for an employer not to have to pay redundancy and treat agency workers differently even though legislation in the Uk says differently?
Do you think its ok for an employer not give its employees annual leave even though UK legislation says it is required to do so?
Do you think it is ok that Condor ferries do not pay National insurance contributions or tax for those seafarers?
